Our import engine actively processes your old conversations to kickstart Lattice OS’s understanding of you. During the import process, Lattice OS will:

Here is how to get started.#

Part 1: Exporting Your Data#

First, you need to liberate your data from the other platforms. It’s easier than you think.

🟢 How to export from OpenAI (ChatGPT)

OpenAI makes it relatively simple to get a copy of every conversation you've ever had with them.

1. Log in to ChatGPT and click on your profile icon in the bottom left.
2. Go to Settings & Beta > Data controls.
3. Click the Export data button.
4. Confirm the request. OpenAI will email you a link when your download is ready (this can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours depending on your history size).
5. Download the .zip file from the email.

(Note: You don't even need to unzip it! Lattice OS's smart importer can handle the whole archive.)

🔵 How to export from Google Gemini

Google uses its standard "Takeout" service for Gemini data.

1. Head over to Google Takeout.
2. At the top of the list, click Deselect all (otherwise you'll download your entire Google life!).
3. Scroll down alphabetically until you find Gemini Apps and check the box next to it.
4. Scroll to the very bottom and click Next step.
5. Choose "Send download link via email" and click Create export.
6. Wait for the email and download your .zip file.

Part 2: Importing into Lattice OS#

Now for the easy part. We’ve built a new "Smart Drop Zone" that handles the heavy lifting for you.

1. Log in to Lattice OS and navigate to Settings > Data & Memory.
2. Look for the new Import History section.
3. Simply drag the .zip file you downloaded from ChatGPT or Gemini directly onto the drop zone.

Lattice OS’s smart detection will automatically analyze the file structure to figure out which platform it came from.

Review the summary and click Start Import.

Watch as Lattice OS processes your history. You'll see real-time metrics showing you exactly what's happening:
