When you reply to Genie in a thread, it automatically reads the full conversation history. You can ask follow-up questions like "Can you optimize that function?" or "What did you mean by the second point?" without restating context.

2. Your New AI Pair Programmer#

Genie for Slack now uses our specialized Code Assistant model. It can detect when you're asking about code and switches modes to provide more precise, syntactically correct, and secure implementations.

You can ask Genie to:

Explain legacy code: Ask "What does this snippet do?"
Refactor: Request cleanups for readability or performance.
